This sheet has a lot of the main adjective patterns listed with some examples. At the end, there's a chart to fill in using said patterns. For additional practice, I would recommend going to these online practice pages:

Princes & Princesses, episode 6
This was the video we watched last night from Michel Ocelot's film Princes et Princesses. I can't find an English subtitled version but I'm still looking!
As you watch, listen for all those être verbs and the gendered nouns in the conversation. Notice also that they are using vous with each other; why do you think that might be?

"Homework" for 6/19
Using the following list of regular -er verbs, write a short paragraph of approximately 7-10 sentences. Try to make it a cohesive story and use some of the other vocabulary we've learned or that you have looked up on your own. Try also to incorporate the possessive adjectives when logical (i.e. "The director and her husband", "La directrice et son mari" etc...).
NB: Don't try to learn all these verbs at once! Pick your top 7 or so and start there. As you feel comfortable with those words, add new ones to replace those that you've learned.

Avez-vous déjà vu...
We didn't get to this in class, but here is a playlist of a few of the many, many videos in this series. It's called "Avez-vous déjà vu..." or "Have you ever seen..." and it has whimsical cartoons that are pretty easy to understand.
More number, verb and family puzzles
Here is another Word Search for the numbers 0-20, another crossword for the family vocabulary here and another crossword puzzle for the être, avoir, aller, and s'appeler verbs here. You can print them using the "printable PDF" button at the bottom or fill them in online. They will only be saved at the website for a few weeks, so apologies in advance when they disappear!

Online Resources: Dictionary, vocabulary and grammar
wordreference.com :
This is a good online dictionary for getting nuanced definitions of French words. It also has forums where you can ask questions of actual Francophones and get even better vocabulary/grammar insight. Most of the words also have a clickable megaphone that will model the pronunciation for you.
Tex's French Grammar :
This website has excellent activities and explanations in English of various French grammar points. They also have various audio recordings to give an example of pronunciations. Basic verb drills are also available to increase speed and accuracy of conjugation.
www.freerice.com : This site provides basic vocabulary-building exercises in French (click on “Subject” at the top of the page to change it to French). For each correct answer, 10 grains of rice are donated to the UN World Food Program.
http://www.armoredpenguin.com/ : This site lets you create crossword puzzles, word searches, and word scrambles by entering your own vocabulary lists and clues. You can practice your vocabulary by typing in the initial words, then practice again by finding them/unscrambling them after the computer has made the puzzle for you!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/french/ : This site has a surplus of activities and resources. Some specific highlights are listed below, but there are many more to discover.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/french/mafrance/flash/ : This BBC site for high schoolers has interactive videos in French with accompanying quizzes and transcripts.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/games/ : Destination Death (a role-playing game in French) and Bitesize Bingo are two games you can play here for additional practice.
http://www.crickweb.co.uk/ks2french.html : Although this site is for children, it mostly consists of drag-and-drop matching of vocabulary words to the corresponding image and can be useful as a basic vocab review.
http://www.languageguide.org/french/ : This site has French vocabulary lists, grammar explanations, and readings.
French news sites will be posted separately. Enjoy!
